THE ELEPHANTMAN

I read "The Elephant man".

A creature sat on a chair behind a table. I say a creature, because it was not a man or a woman, like you or me. The creature did not move or look at us. It sat very quietly on the chair in the cold, dark, dirty, room, and looked at the table.

This is the first scene he saw the elephant man. I felt strange when reading this scene because I couldn't imagine what he looked like. The front cover of the book had a person with a human body and a elephant head but it was different in the story. He was badly treated at the time of this scene.
