I read "Ireland" by TIM VICARY. This book has 12 contents. We can learn more about Irish history and culture through these contents. I introduce some of them that I found interesting. First is the story of Vikings. In this story, two different Vikings ships came to same place and both of them want to live there but due to the large number of people, both Vikings could not live. So they did game to decide which one will get the land. The Northern Ireland flag is said to have come from this game. If you look at the flag after knowing this story, you will be convinced why the red hand is drawn in the middle of the flag. I also wanted to know the origin of other flags. Second is about Stories, music, and dancing. Many great writers were born in Ireland. Some of them are Jonathan Swift who wrote Gulliver's Travels. In this book there is a picture that some girls dance holding hands. They wore cute clothes and looked very happy. I want to see the dance.
